A Morning Through Melbourne

A personalised print celebrating runners who completed a race at the 2026 Melbourne Marathon event.

The concept, “A Morning Through Melbourne”, positions the marathon as more than a finish line, it’s a journey through the city. I developed the poster as a keepsake that captures that experience while giving each runner a personal connection to the final piece.

Each poster is personalised, stamped with the runner’s finish time, transforming an individual race result into a tangible record of the day. The design combines bold typography, graphic elements and a Melbourne MCG inspired visual language to create something that feels both celebratory and collectible.

The project explores the intersection of running, place and personal achievement, creating a print that celebrates the thousands of individual stories that make up one Melbourne Marathon weekend.
